Job summary

HOIST in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with strong manufacturing ERP experience to drive requirements and improvements.

You will translate business needs into functional specs, support ERP implementations, and collaborate with stakeholders while traveling up to 50%.

Experience with shop orders, material flow, and cost considerations in manufacturing is highly valued, as is fluency in English and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' progressive experience in manufacturing and ERP environments.
• Experience with shop orders, shop floors, material flow and costing in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in client-facing roles and 2+ years on ERP implementation or upgrades.
• English fluency with strong written and verbal communication.
• Legally entitled to work in the country you are applying for.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
• Analyze business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions.
• Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional documents, user stories, and use cases.
• Translate complex concepts into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform gap analysis between requirements and current systems.
• Work with development teams to ensure accurate implementation and timely resolution.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions to align with business goals.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Conduct QA testing to ensure software meets requirements.
• Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management.
• Provide ongoing support during the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ERP solutions.
• Serve as subject matter expert for business processes and software functionality.
• Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for adoption.
