Job summary

MNB Precision Ltd in Coventry is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop the engineering team, delivering robust solutions for high-mix/low-volume machining in exotic materials. You will standardise processes, drive lean improvements, and embed advanced CAD/CAM capabilities to support quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong problem solving, and collaboration with production and quality teams to ensure first-time-right quality and scalable

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in high-mix/low-volume machining.
• Strong background in continuous improvement to minimise downtime.
• Knowledge of machining processes and CAD/CAM/tooling in Oil & Gas, Aerospace or Defence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering function to deliver robust, efficient solutions for complex machining operations.
• Standardise processes for setup reduction and flexible manufacturing to improve responsiveness.
• Drive improvement projects to reduce scrap, rework and dimensional variation.
