Job summary

Hutchinson Engineering in Kilrea, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the next stage of our manufacturing development. Qualifications

• Extensive manufacturing engineering or CI experience in a production environment.
• Experience leading projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with robotics and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a structured improvement programme across cutting, folding, fabrication, welding, assembly and finishing, targeting productivity, right-first-time quality and cost.
• Own NPI, embedding a PFMEA approach to pre-production planning.
• Develop selective automation, including robotic welding, and drive ROI-driven investments.
• Embed a practical CI culture with measurable gains in production flow.
