Job summary

Hyster-Yale Group in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (New Product Introduction) to lead NPI from concept to SOP for assembly. The role focuses on embedding lean processes, cost improvements, and cross-functional project leadership in a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will drive manufacturability improvements, manage budgets within AOP targets, and coordinate multi-site teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Qualifications

Degree/HND in an engineering discipline with 3–5 years in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment.
Experience with change control processes, pilots, and work instruction generation.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI from concept to SOP for Assembly with zero negative product flow impact.
Plan and coordinate New Product/Review Gate projects.
Drive DFMA changes with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability.
Lead sub-tasks from initiation to milestone delivery within cost targets.
Collaborate with global departments to implement new designs safely and efficiently.
