Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is recruiting for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a Bridgend-based manufacturing business. You will drive continuous improvement, optimize production processes, and support new product development from concept to production.

You will work across engineering, production and quality to improve efficiency, ensure reliable processes, and deliver repeatable manufacturing performance. A strong technical base and proactive approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to implementation.
• Experience specifying or designing production tooling and fixtures.
• Strong problem solving skills with practical engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine and implement manufacturing processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation including new product introductions.
• Specify and coordinate the design and manufacture of tooling, jigs and fixtures with internal teams and suppliers.
• Investigate and introduce innovative manufacturing methods and automation to grow capabilities.
• Assess and validate processes to meet quality, manufacturing requirements and performance.
• Collaborate with production, quality and procurement to implement engineering changes with minimal disruption.
• Work with customers on new product introductions ensuring requirements translate to manufacturing.
• Maintain engineering documentation and training to support new processes.
