Role Description: As part of the Engineering Producibility Team, the Manufacturing Engineer will influence new designs using NPI tools, ensure manufacturability, and translate designs into world-class processes meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute Manufacturing Product Introduction activities, including designing methods of manufacture and process steps using the Product Quality Planning toolset.
  2. Apply DFMEA/PFMEA knowledge to influence product definition and manufacturing processes.
  3. Create and validate Production Technical Instructions to meet design intent and customer requirements.
  4. Manage First offs, new part numbers, significant resequencing, and tooling introduction, acting as the manufacturing technical authority.
  5. Represent manufacturing engineering within cross-functional teams for designated parts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience with fabrications, valves, complex assemblies, machining, or critical classified components.
  • Degree or equivalent in engineering or related technical discipline, with experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Additional Requirements: Must hold UK nationality, with the ability to obtain SC security clearance. Dual nationals require additional checks.
