Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on automation and systems integration.
- Proven experience with robotics, PLC programming, SCADA systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for automation in manufacturing and operational processes and evaluate potential solutions.
- Design, specify, and oversee the implementation of automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, and material handling equipment.
- Ensure effective systems integration by working closely with IT, operations, and external vendors.
- Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials for automated systems.
- Analyze the performance of automated systems and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed automation projects.
