Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer for Randburg to strengthen quality systems and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will develop, implement, and monitor QMS to reduce defects and boost customer satisfaction.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial engineering with focus on quality, and experience with Six Sigma, Lean, SPC and FMEA, plus the ability to lead audits and CAPA initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with focus on quality systems and process improvement.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, and FMEA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret complex data.
• Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QMS aligned with industry standards.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes.
• Lead quality improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean.
• Design and conduct process capability studies and SPC.
• Develop and deliver training on quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D to ensure quality.
• Oversee internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance.
• Manage documentation related to quality procedures and records.
• Investigate customer complaints and CAPA actions.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report performance.
