Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Buyer to join their manufacturing team. You will source and procure engineering, facilities and manufacturing spare parts, drive cost-saving initiatives and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Working with maintenance and technical teams, you will ensure continuity of supply, negotiate favourable terms and support operational efficiency across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in Buyer or Procurement in fast-paced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase requisitions for ad-hoc and inventory-controlled items.
• Source and procure engineering, facilities and manufacturing parts and services.
• Raise and manage purchase orders through the procurement system.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and payment terms with suppliers.
• Track procurement savings and performance metrics.
• Resolve supplier delivery issues and invoice discrepancies.
• Produce weekly procurement reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal maintenance and technical teams.
