Job Purpose

The Manager, Audit will oversee, plan, and execute comprehensive audit engagements across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, internal control evaluation, and operational transparency. The incumbent will lead the full audit lifecycle—from planning and budgeting to fieldwork, review, and reporting—while guiding and supervising a team of auditors. The role requires strong analytical abilities, deep knowledge of audit methodologies, and understanding of the skincare and lifestyle industries to ensure accurate assessments and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning & Execution
  • Lead, manage, and supervise end-to-end audit engagements, ensuring alignment with audit standards and company policies.
  • Develop audit plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets to support organizational goals.
  • Conduct risk-based assessments to identify operational, financial, and compliance-related vulnerabilities.
Financial Review & Compliance
  • Examine and analyze financial statements, ledgers, and documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, internal policies, and industry-specific guidelines.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for strengthening.
Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Manage and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance, task assignments, and performance feedback.
  • Review the work of junior staff to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with audit methodology.
  • Facilitate knowledge development within the team through training and continuous learning.
Reporting & Recommendations
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, discrepancies, risks, and improvement areas.
  • Present audit results to senior management with actionable recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Process & Risk Assessment
  • Continuously assess internal processes for gaps, inefficiencies, and risk exposure.
  • Recommend enhancements to financial controls, operational processes, and documentation practices.
Industry-Specific Insight
  • Apply understanding of skincare and lifestyle clothing industries to assess operational and financial risks unique to these sectors.
  • Ensure business practices align with industry standards and organizational growth strategies.
