Job summary

Air Liquide UK is seeking a proactive Head of Branches North to lead and be accountable for branch operations in northern England. The role covers safety, customer and employee experience, branch efficiency and profitability, and leadership of distribution, warehousing, and internal sales activities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, financial acumen, and a proven track record in safety management within chemical, industrial manufacturing, or high-pressure gas

Responsibilities

• Safety, compliance & risk management oversight across all branch activities.
• P&L ownership including budget, revenue, CapEx and cost-control.
• Asset & cylinder logistics management and local route planning.
• Continuous improvement of store/warehouse workflows and order fulfilment.
• Drive commercial growth and customer experience through collaboration with sales and service teams.
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary branch team including drivers and operatives.
• Oversee retail counter and walk-in customer support with technical guidance.
