VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial success of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects, owning contractual performance, profitability and risk management from inception to completion.

You will work closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to drive value and ensure successful project delivery, while inspiring and developing commercial talent within the team.

Qualificações

• Accredited professional qualification with RICS/CIOB/ICES or degree with numerical/technical emphasis.
• Experience as an Assistant QS or QS with relevant construction exposure.
• Willingness to work within VolkerWessels UK and through PSL agencies if needed.

As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll lead the commercial success of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects, taking ownership of contractual performance, profitability, and risk management from inception to completion.

Working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders, you'll inspire and develop commercial talent while driving value, performance, and successful project delivery.

About you

• An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
• Alternatively, a degree with some numerical or technical is advantageous. Relevant HND subjects include building/construction, urban and land studies, civil engineering and structural engineering.
• Adequate experience as an Assistant QS/QS., Our preference is to hire directly, and we will reach out to our Preferred Supplier List (PSL) agencies if this particular role qualifies for release.
