Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks a Project Quantity Surveyor to own costs, maximise value, and manage risk while building strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners to deliver projects efficiently from start to finish.

The role requires accredited professional qualifications and on-site measurement experience, with a focus on NEC3/JCT contract environments and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in build projects.
• Accredited by RICS/CIOB/ICES.
• Experience in onsite measuring.
• Familiar with NEC3 Option A and JCT contracts.

Job description

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of costs, maximise project value, manage risk, and build strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners, ensuring projects are delivered profitably, efficiently, and successfully from start to finish.

About you

• Relevant experience working in Build
• An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
• Experience of onsite measures
• NEC3 Option A form of contract and subcontract conditions
• JCT Design & Build and JCT Standard Building Contract experience
• Managing others
• Knowledge and understanding of construction management, construction and sustainable construction techniques.
• Good communicator
• Able to work under pressure
• Effective use of Initiative
