Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial team supporting the Anglian Water IMRDS Framework portfolio in the West region. The role requires strong NEC3 contracts knowledge and proven leadership of a commercial team.

You will oversee forecasting, cash management, and change control while safeguarding contractual entitlements and driving performance and growth across a significant infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience at Managing Quantity Surveyor level.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge, ideally ECC and PSC Options.
• Ability to lead, organise and develop a commercial team.
• Proven forecasting, cash management, change control and final accounts skills.
• Excellent client-facing, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the commercial team, set priorities and standards, and manage performance.
• Review and assure CVRs, forecasts, applications and cash reporting before submission.
• Manage NEC3 contracts, compensation events and change processes to protect entitlement.
• Lead recovery strategies for under-certified value and resolve commercial issues through dialogue.
• Build strong client relationships with Anglian Water and provide commercial advice.
