Job summary

VANRATH seeks a Management Accountant for a market-leading global business in Dunmurry. You will join a dynamic finance team, report to the Financial Controller, and help deliver timely management and statutory reports.

In this role you will monitor budgets, lead month-end closing, support Board reports and forecasts, and drive process improvements while collaborating with external auditors. Hybrid/remote work is available and development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or part-qualified, or willing to work towards qualification.
• Proven experience in managing financial accounts and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes.
• Experience working with external auditors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate management and statutory financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Monitor budgets and variance analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Lead the month-end closing process and assist with Board reports and financial forecasts.
• Support, develop, and motivate the finance team, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive improvements in financial policies, processes, and data management.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
