Job summary

MCFT in Maidenhead is seeking a meticulous Management Accountant for an office-based role. You will support financial management, deliver timely management information, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.

Working with Deputy Financial Controllers and the wider finance team, you will post journals, prepare department P&Ls, and provide analysis to drive commercial decisions across UK and overseas sites.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline is desirable but not essential where relevant experience is demonstrated.
• Experience working with Sage Intacct and Power BI is preferred.
• Experience in a multi-departmental or multi-site business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Posting month end journals including prepayments, accruals, depreciation and other adjustments.
• Producing monthly profit and loss accounts for departments.
• Assisting with reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Transactional posting and prep of monthly management reporting pack for a small group entity.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
• Assisting with reconciliations between the Internal ERP system and Internal financial reporting package (Sage Intacct).
• Helping provide financial analysis to support commercial and operational decision‑making.
