Job summary

Danielle Ward Recruitment is seeking a Management Accountant for a hugely successful company on their vibrant head office team in the United Kingdom. The role offers progression and the chance to work towards an accounting qualification within 18 months if desired.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, assist with budgets and forecasts, and provide analysis to budget holders. A meticulous, proactive approach and strong collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Competence with various software, including spreadsheets and database systems.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple business units, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
• Assist with annual budgets and forecasts.
• Support budget holders by providing financial analysis and account reviews.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage and update fixed asset registers.
• Coordinate financial information from overseas operations.
• Post monthly journals to the general ledger.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis or produce reports as required.
