Management Accountant London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions. These include HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to the lasting impact we make, helping keep the nation's critical digital infrastructures connected and protected.

This role involves working closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasting, providing timely, accurate, and transparent reporting, and analyzing financial results to support decision-making. It also includes assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide clear analysis for effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing forecasts, measure, and report on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons of actuals to forecasts/budgets.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Ensure area reviews are conducted for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate contract reporting, scrutinize financial results, and challenge the business.

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
