Job summary

Apcoa Parking in the United Kingdom seeks a Management Accountant to join the finance team in Uxbridge. The role focuses on providing accurate financial analysis to internal and external stakeholders, supporting department heads and senior management.

You will manage month-end processes, produce P&L by project, and deliver insightful budget versus actual analyses. A qualification path (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Part qualified or fully qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ACA or finance degree.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial staff.
• Experience working across multiple sites is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end processes including accruals and prepayments for all overheads departments.
• Produce Profit and Loss accounts by project and department monthly.
• Monthly financial performance reviews with department heads and project managers; provide business partnering and commercial input.
• Maintain DOA (delegation of authority) schedules for all projects.
• Conduct detailed revenue and cost trend analysis to aid budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure journals are properly annotated with audit trail.
• Reconcile ERP, internal reporting, and group reporting packages; upload schedules to group package.
