Job summary

Arthur Financial is seeking a Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC to join the Corporate Finance team. The role involves preparing quarterly management accounts, month-end close and close scrutiny of balance sheets across group entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly management accounts and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Prepare balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Support annual financial statements, audit requirements and VAT/tax submissions.
• Produce financial analysis and contribute to board reporting.
• Support payroll reconciliations, group recharges and cash-related processes.
• Improve financial controls, processes and data quality.
• Support finance change activities alongside the systems implementation.

Management Accountant | 12-month FTC | £60,000Hybrid - minimum three days per week in the officeArthur Financial is exclusively supporting an insurance business with the appointment of a Management Accountant to its Corporate Finance team.This is a broad accounting opportunity, suited to a newly or recently qualified accountant looking to build their industry experience. Previous insurance experience is not required, and practice training would be an advantage.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll join a corporate finance team of 12, supporting accounting and reporting across group entities while the business implements a new accounting system.
