Arthur Financial is seeking a Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC to join the Corporate Finance team. The role involves preparing quarterly management accounts, month-end close and close scrutiny of balance sheets across group entities.

You will support audits, VAT submissions, and board reporting while helping implement a new accounting system. The candidate should be a newly or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong fundamentals and a practical, detail-oriented mindset, comfortable

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA accountant (newly qualified candidates welcome).
• Strong accounting fundamentals and comfort with reconciliations and financial data.
• Practical approach to investigating problems and finding solutions.
• Good communication across the business and willingness to get into detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly management accounts and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Prepare balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Support annual financial statements, audit requirements and VAT/tax submissions.
• Produce financial analysis and contribute to board reporting.
• Support payroll reconciliations, group recharges and cash-related processes.
• Improve financial controls, processes and data quality.
• Support finance change activities alongside the systems implementation.
