Job summary

Ocean Housing Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in St Austell, Cornwall. This 18-month fixed-term contract offers the chance to shape robust financial information and support strategic decision-making for our community-focused housing provider.

You'll prepare monthly management accounts, support year-end audits, lead budgeting and forecasting, and drive improvements while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified by experience (CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA).
• Strong experience in management accounts, budgeting and cash flow planning.
• Excellent Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly Management Accounts, Board Papers, and cash flow reports.
• Supporting year-end audits, statutory accounts, and regulatory returns.
• Leading on budget planning, business plans, and financial modelling.
• Driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to management and Board members.
