Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting is working with a Cornish business in Truro, seeking a Management Accountant to join a small, experienced finance team as the FC's right-hand person. The role covers monthly management accounts for a group of companies, payroll for around 100 staff, and support for ledgers and statutory processes.

The successful candidate will have strong management accounting experience, be fully or partly qualified (AAT or equivalent), and be proficient with MS Excel in a proactive,

They’re seeking aManagement Accountant to join their small and well-established finance team. The key focus of the role being to act as the FC's “right hand person” with a varied and interesting range of duties including:

• The production of monthly management accounts for a group of companies
• Preparation of monthly payroll for around 100 staff
• Support the Finance Administrator with sales and purchase ledger activities
• Assisting with statutory accounting procedures
• Deputise to the FC during periods of leave or absence
