Job summary

Prince Personnel is recruiting a Management Accountant for a permanent role in Telford. The position can be full-time or four days a week with a 37.5-hour working week, offering a salary up to £50,000 per year.

The role covers financial reporting, budgeting, VAT compliance, and maintaining strong internal controls to support strategic decision-making. You will interact with senior stakeholders and oversee a finance function.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience (QBE).
• Proven experience in financial management and preparation of management accounts.
• Experience with VAT compliance and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts with variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Compile reports for the Board and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and robust controls.
• Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
