Job summary

The Great Schools Trust is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Office-based Finance Team at King’s Leadership Academy Warrington. The role offers a permanent contract for 30 hours per week, spread over four days, with flexibility Monday to Thursday and one Friday required.

You’ll work closely with our Management Accountant, supporting the academies’ financial management, day-to-day operations and developing a small Finance Officers team.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in finance including ledger management and month-end accounting.
• Strong organisational, proactive mindset with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial management of our academies.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations within the team.
• Help lead and develop a small team of Finance Officers.
