Job summary

Hawk3 Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for a commercially minded and proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team in BD4, Bradford.

This role takes ownership of the management accounts process, supports budgeting and forecasting, and delivers insightful financial analysis to influence strategic decisions. The position offers flexible hours with a four-day week option after probation, combining responsibility with work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.
• CIMA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or actively studying towards a relevant qualification.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and financial reporting capability.
• Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets, forecasts and prior periods; identify variances and trends.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support planning and profitability.
• Maintain robust internal controls and financial documentation.
• Collaborate with Head of Finance to promote financial discipline.
