JHE & Partners are working with a long-standing manufacturing business in Keighley who are looking for a management accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting directly into the managing director, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to take the reins of the finance function.

Qualifications

• Experience as a management accountant.
• Manufacturing experience desirable.
• Knowledge of weekly and monthly payroll.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Calculate costs and stock reporting.
• Produce reports and financial information for SLT.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT and HMRC compliance.
• Support with year-end audit.
• Monthly cashflow forecasting.

Reporting directly into the managing director, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to take the reins of the finance function.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the business, bringing together the management accounts, providing accurate financial reporting and making key decisions for continuous improvement within the business. With the support of an assistant accountant, this is a varied and hands-on role resulting in an exciting challenge.

Duties:

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Calculate costs and stock reporting
• Produce reports and financial information for SLT
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and balance sheet recs
• Prepare VAT and all HMRC compliance
• Support with year-end audit
• Monthly cashflow forecasting

Person spec:

• Qualified / part qualified / QBE
• Experience working as a management accountant
• Manufacturing experience (desirable)
• Strong Excel and Sage experience
• Knowledge of weekly and monthly payroll

Offering a salary of up to £50,000 plus early finish on a Friday at midday (working longer Mon-Thur), this is a great manufacturing opportunity for someone to really sink your teeth into.
