Job summary

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an organisation in Bangor seeking a Management Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will prepare monthly management accounts, produce P&L and balance sheet schedules, post journals and reconciliations, and provide monthly financial analysis within a growing environmental and property protection business. The role includes an annual bonus, 31 days’ holiday and flexible start and finish times.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accounts Technician, OR Part Qualified /CIMA/ACCA OR Qualified by Experience.
• Team player.
• Proactive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Produce monthly P&L reports, balance sheets and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and post journals.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial analysis.
• Prepare and post payroll journal reconciliations.

The company works with a range of clients, providing practical solutions to help assess and manage risk, protect properties and minimise potential damage. As they are going through a period of growth, they are keen to add an ambitious, highly motivated management accountant.

The Role:
