Position: Managed Services Pre-Sales Consultant

Location: Hybrid – London

Type: Full-Time

JOB PURPOSE

Contribute to delivering a very high standard of technical support to Advania’s customers that consume our data platforms service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop customized IT managed services solutions.
  • Design and architect service solutions that address client needs, incorporating best practices and leveraging our service portfolio.
  • Create detailed proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation to support the sales process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our IT managed services and how they address specific client challenges.
  • Engage with clients to gather technical requirements and provide expert advice on optimal solutions.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between the sales team, clients, and internal technical teams.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including answering client queries and addressing concerns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop account strategies and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and service delivery, to ensure seamless solution implementation.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to enhance knowledge of our services and solutions.
  • Manage multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Coordinate with service transition to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven years of experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within the IT managed services industry.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, endpoint management, and IT infrastructure. (Not all expected)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure, Intune, O365, Sentinel, Networking).
  • Experience with ITSM tools and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Familiarity with managed services contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).

Budgeted salary range for this role is £65,000 + £20,000 Commission and Benefits.
