Job summary

Active Care Group in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated Male Support Worker to assist a young boy who is deaf, autistic and displays challenging behaviour. You will accompany him on community activities and work with another Support Worker to ensure safe, supportive care in a residential setting.

The role covers evenings after school and weekends (25 hours per week). We offer induction training, DBS checks, a Nest pension, rotas, and ongoing support from our Children's Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with autism and challenging behaviour.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work with a second support worker in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Support a young boy who is deaf and autistic in daily activities.
• Take him out into the community for activities.
• Work alongside another Support Worker at all times.
