DataAnnotation is seeking Malayalam linguists to evaluate AI translations and localization work on real projects. You will review model outputs, identify linguistic errors, and provide precise scoring and explanations.

This is a flexible, remote, independent-contractor position with project-based work availability. You’ll bring your Malayalam language expertise and clear English explanations to help train AI models.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in languages or a closely related field.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Review frontier models' outputs on real Malayalam language tasks and rate quality.
• Identify errors, explain failures, and justify your scoring with reasoning.
• Write clearer, more useful answers when models fall short.
