Job summary

Churchill Group is hiring a Make Ready Operative at the Wigan Ambulance station on a full-time basis. The role involves replacing and restocking vital equipment within emergency vehicles and supporting the NHS vehicle preparation programme to help practitioners save lives.

You will move ambulances within the station, so a C1 driving licence is essential. The team is friendly and committed to clean, safe environments for clients, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Location: Wigan Ambulance station

Contract Type: Full time

Weekly Hours: 4 on 4 off rotating shift, 10.5hrs per shift (10pm start,9am Finish)

Salary: £14.14 per hour

FULL C1 DRIVING LICENCE ESSENTIAL

Cleaning is Churchill’s largest long-established business area and as a Make Ready Operative you will have the all-important duty of replacing and re-stocking vital equipment within emergency vehicles. As a Make Ready Operative, you will be working very closely within the NHS & in turn become a very important part of the vehicle preparation programme which helps practitioners save lives. You’ll be part of a friendly team, all working together to create outstandingly clean and safe environments that make our clients happy.

Your role will also involve moving ambulances within the station, so it is essential you have a C1 driving licence.
