Job summary

Places for People is hiring a Maintenance Operative on a permanent basis at PinnPoint, Uxbridge UB10 0WN. Reporting to the Community Manager, you will keep the site well maintained, handle technical issues, and support health and safety and resident requests. The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

DBS check is mandatory and probation will certify candidates. The ideal candidate has a trades background with plumbing and decorating experience and

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience.
• Previous experience within hospitality is also desired though not essential.
• A trades background is expected.
• Plumbing and decorating experience are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site to a high standard and minimise technical issues.
• Assist with health and safety matters and deliver good customer service to residents.
• Support the procurement of goods and assist residents with ad hoc requests.
• Probation completion will lead to certification.
• A basic DBS check is mandatory.
