Job summary

Pertemps Enfield in London is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to support the maintenance and upkeep of student residential properties across London. You will carry out a range of maintenance tasks in occupied buildings and help ensure properties remain safe and fully operational for residents.

The role runs 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with on‑call duties. NVQ Level 2 in Electrical is essential, plus additional trade qualifications (plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating) are

Qualifications

• Experience as Multi Trade or similar role in maintenance or facilities.
• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical is essential.
• Further trade qualifications are advantageous.
• Good health and safety knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across student accommodation properties.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
• Diagnose and rectify building defects and maintenance issues.
• Complete electrical and general multi-trade maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety legislation.
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments before undertaking work.
• Maintain accurate records through digital job management systems.
• Identify and report additional maintenance requirements.
• Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.
• Ensure properties remain safe, secure, warm and fully operational for residents.
