Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep a site well maintained and handle routine repairs at PinnPoint, Uxbridge.

You will report to the Community Manager, support health and safety, assist in procuring goods and responding to residents' ad hoc requests, with a 9:00–17:30 schedule on-site.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance is preferred.
  • Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Site-based role at PinnPoint, Uxbridge UB10 0WN with 9:00–17:30 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the site and minimise technical issues.
  • Assist health and safety and deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Assist in procurement of goods and respond to residents' ad hoc requests.
  • Probation completion leads to certification.

More About Your Role

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Community Manager, you will ensure that the site is well maintained and technical issues minimised.

This role is based on site Monday to Friday at PinnPoint, Uxbridge UB10 0WN with working hours of 9.00am - 5.30pm (with a 1-hour lunch break).

On a daily basis, you will assist with health and safety issues and ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained throughout the site. In addition, you will assist in the procurement of goods and residents with ad hoc requests.

We will be able to certify candidates after successfully completing probation.

At Places for People, we are committed to a safe working environment so a basic DBS check is mandatory.

More about you

The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience. Previous experience within hospitality is also desired thought not essential.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A trades background
  • Plumbing and decorating experience
  • Mechanical/electrical qualifications
