Job summary

Places for People is recruiting a Maintenance Operative to help keep our on-site facilities well maintained and safe. You will address routine repairs, assist residents with requests, and uphold our safety standards across the site.

This permanent role is based on site at Beton House, Monday to Friday, 9:30am–6pm with a 30-minute lunch. A trades background, plumbing/decorating experience, and mechanical/electrical qualifications are preferred; a basic DBS check is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Trade background required
• Experience in plumbing and decorating
• Mechanical and electrical qualifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain site and minimise technical issues, ensuring high service standards
• Assist with health and safety issues on site
• Procure goods and support residents with ad hoc requests
• Report to General Manager and ensure site is well maintained
