Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is recruiting a Maintenance Technician - Bricklayer to join our Responsive Maintenance Team in the Housing Property and Strategic Projects Division. The role requires City and Guilds Level 2 or NVQ and experience in bricklaying; a basic level of Welsh is requested.

The post is based at depots in Trostre, Llanelli or Johnstown, Carmarthen, working 37 hours per week at an hourly rate of £14.82–£16.90.

  • You will need City and Guilds Level 2 or an NVQ equivalent with suitable works experience.
  • Basic conversational Welsh is required.
  • Bricklaying experience is desirable for the post.

Providing the best quality service is a key part of the role of our multi-skilled workforce, to ensure that jobs are efficiently completed within agreed timescales. These roles encompass our passion for teamwork and customer focused delivery across our entire trade function.

You will be qualified to City and Guilds Level 2 or an NVQ equivalent with suitable works experience.

1 vacant post is available, with desirable experience and qualifications in Bricklaying

Our teams operate from 2 depots, based in Trostre, Llanelli or Johnstown, Carmarthen .
