Job summary

Dnata is seeking a Maintenance professional for its London Heathrow site. This permanent, full-time role operates in a high-volume, time-sensitive aviation catering environment where reliability, hygiene and safety are crucial.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance procedures, supervising equipment uptime, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role covers hot kitchens, cold prep areas, storage, dispatch zones, plant rooms and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Maintenance, preferably in the food industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.

• Working to develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Maintain all machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
• Prepare requests for the ordering of spare parts and materials as needed to support maintenance activities.
