Job summary

London Heathrow Marriott is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Engineering team at the Heathrow hotel. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, timely guest repair requests, and safe operation of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests promptly and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually to ensure proper functioning.
• Carry and operate equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift changes.
• Follow safety and security policies and report any maintenance problems or hazards.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
