London Heathrow Marriott is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our engineering team at Heathrow. This full-time role involves responding to guest repair requests and performing preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and tools.

Responsibilities also include inventory upkeep, safety compliance, and coordinate with team members to maintain high service standards. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in customer service are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests promptly and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machines visually for proper functioning.
• Carry and operate equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift changes.
• Follow safety and security policies and report maintenance problems or hazards.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
