Job summary

Haven is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a welcoming environment for team and guests.

You will manage a dynamic Facilities & Maintenance Hub, drive performance, coordinate budgets, mentor staff, and uphold health and safety standards, while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leadership roles such as Maintenance/Facilities Manager.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working with external contractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Budgeting and financial management experience.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
• Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.
• Performance Management:Monitorindividual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Resource Management: Overseeteam scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operationscomply withhealth and safety regulations, company policies, and standards.
• Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
• Training and Development: Supportteam development through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in roles such as Maintenance Manager, Facilities Manager, or a similar leadership position, witha track recordof managing operations and overseeing external contractors.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingattention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Experience in budgeting andfinancial management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
