Job summary

Haven is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our team at a busy park in Skegness. You’ll carry out inspections and perform repairs across plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep to keep facilities in top condition and guests safe and comfortable.

The role is full-time and permanent, requiring hands-on problem-solving, independence, and a commitment to safety. Driving license is preferred to support maintenance across sites.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in General Maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections and maintenance tasks on park facilities, including plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Address minor repairs promptly and diagnose problems to keep facilities running smoothly.
• Conduct routine checks on key facilities and equipment to prevent issues and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners or team with a friendly and professional approach.
• Work closely with the wider maintenance team to provide seamless, high-quality service across the park.
• Keep detailed records and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Practical experience in General Maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.) is essential; qualifications in any related trade are a plus!
• Previousexperience working on holiday homes (preferred, but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and a commitment tomaintaininga safe, compliant workplace.
• Full UK Driving License preferred.
