Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd in Devizes is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to lead a skilled engineering and operations team in maintaining and optimizing processing and packaging assets.

You will manage PMs, reactive maintenance, drive improvements, and lead changeovers, with a 4on4off days pattern (6am–6pm). The role offers training and long-term progression with a salary up to £60,000 plus benefits.

• Previous leadership experience in an automated environment.
• Either a mechanical or electrical qualification.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve faults across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation and pneumatic systems.
• Lead teams during machinery changeovers and setups.
• Drive continuous improvement and participate in investigations to enhance efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day HR activities for direct reports.
• Ensure availability and efficiency of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Contribute to audits and support compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Maintenance Team Leader This role offers practical leadership, technical challenge, and the opportunity to shape processes while developing your team’s expertise.Additionally, You’ll manage PPM and reactive maintenance, drive continuous improvement projects, and implement practical solutions to increase efficiency and performance.

• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic faults.
• Lead teams during machinery changeovers and setups.
• Lead teams during machinery changeovers and setups.
• Drive continuous improvement and participate in failure investigations to enhance efficiency
• Support team development and technical competence.
• Ensure availability and efficiency of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Contribute to internal and external audits.
• Manage day-to-day HR activities for direct reports.
