Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader for a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing site near Milton Keynes. You will lead a team of maintenance engineers, while remaining hands-on with electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, PPMs and breakdowns.

Reporting to the engineering manager, you will drive maximum machinery uptime and efficiency, coordinate maintenance activities and mentor engineers in a fast-paced environment with day and night

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance engineers and manage maintenance activities.
• Maintain high uptime and efficiency of machinery.
• Provide hands-on mechanical and electrical support as needed.

Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £72,000

Shift: Days and Nights 12 hour

Job Role of the Maintenance Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing site. You will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance engineers whilst remaining hands on with electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, PPMs and breakdowns.

You will lead from the front, supporting the engineering team, coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring maximum machinery uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Team Leader

• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team of maintenance engineers.
• Engineering Qualification

Requirements for the Maintenance Team Leader

• Must be Apprentice Trained
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing or leading a maintenance/engineering team.
• Strong hands on maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Willingness to remain hands on and support the engineering team with maintenance activities.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Team Leader

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Team Leader in the UK.
• Apprentice Trained
• Experience within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance.
