Job summary

ATA Recruitment is supporting a leading UK manufacturer in Devizes to recruit a Maintenance Manager. The role leads a skilled engineering and operations team to maintain and optimize processing and packaging assets, with a focus on preventive and reactive maintenance, continuous improvement, and audits.

The position offers a 4on4off days shift (6am–6pm) and a generous benefits package, including an annual bonus and progression opportunities within a large UK group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering and operations teams.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a skilled engineering and operations team to maintain and optimize processing and packaging assets.
• Manage preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and implement practical solutions to increase efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

This role offers practical leadership, technical challenge, and the opportunity to shape processes while developing your team’s expertise.Additionally, You’ll manage PPM and reactive maintenance, drive continuous improvement projects, and implement practical solutions to increase efficiency and performance.

• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic faults.
• Lead teams during machinery changeovers and setups.
• Lead teams during machinery changeovers and setups.
• Drive continuous improvement and participate in failure investigations to enhance efficiency
• Support team development and technical competence.
• Ensure availability and efficiency of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Contribute to internal and external audits.
• Manage day-to-day HR activities for direct reports.
