Job summary

ATA Recruitment is handling a Maintenance Supervisor role in Birmingham. You will lead a team of 4 maintenance engineers in a highly automated manufacturing environment, driving maintenance planning, TPM and continuous improvement while ensuring high H&S standards.

The package includes £60,000 basic with £70,000 OTE, 4 on 4 off days and nights, OEM training and recognised qualifications, and genuine progression into senior management within a growing, secure manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification - Electrical, Mechanical or Maintenance.
• Manufacturing, automation, FMCG, logistics or industrial experience.
• Experience with automated machinery, conveyors or material handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4 Maintenance Engineers within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities including PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Reduce breakdowns and downtime; drive TPM and continuous improvement.

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer, Lead Engineer, Engineering Team Leader or Maintenance Supervisor looking for your next step?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business with over 90 years of industry experience and the backing of a global manufacturing group.

The business is investing heavily in its engineering function, offering OEM training, recognised qualifications and genuine progression into senior management.

The Role

You'll lead a team of 4 Maintenance Engineers within a highly automated manufacturing environment.

• Leading and supporting 4 engineers
• Planning and coordinating maintenance
• Managing PPM and reactive maintenance
• Reducing breakdowns and downtime
• Driving TPM and continuous improvement
• Supporting automated production equipment
• Fault investigation and corrective actions
• Managing maintenance records and spares
• Ensuring high H&S standards
• Working closely with Production

About You

• Engineering qualification - Electrical, Mechanical or Maintenance
• Manufacturing, automation, FMCG, logistics or industrial experience
• Experience with automated machinery, conveyors or material handling
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous

Engineers Ready to Step Up?
