Job summary

Accent Group Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor in Peterborough for repairs and voids maintenance across our properties. The role mixes site visits with desk-based work, requiring knowledge of domestic building construction, HHSRS, and schedules of rates to qualify repairs.

You will raise repairs in our Housing Management System and ensure updates to customer accounts through to completion. Travel between sites and on-call duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• HNC in Building (or equivalent) or relevant maintenance/constructon experience.
• Strong understanding of building design, fabrics and lifecycles.
• Experience with contract performance and budget management.
• Good customer focus and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver repairs and voids maintenance across allocated patch.
• Mix of site visits and desk-based work across properties.
• Qualify repairs using knowledge of domestic buildings, HHSRS and schedule of rates.
• Raise repairs on Housing Management System and update customer records through to completion.
• Uphold Empty Homes (Voids) standards for timely, quality outcomes.
• Identify and address hazards (damp, mould) per Awaab’s Law.
• Collaborate with contractors, housing teams and internal colleagues to improve service efficiency.
