Job summary

Accent Group Limited is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor in Peterborough. The role involves delivering repairs and voids maintenance, visiting homes and qualifying works with knowledge of domestic building components, HHSRS and rate schedules.

You will input works into our Housing Management System and ensure timely completion. You will address hazards under Awaab's Law, work with contractors and internal teams to improve service efficiency, and support the ongoing transformation of our housing

Qualifications

• HNC in Building or equivalent qualification or experience in maintenance and construction.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• DBS and social media checks may be required before offer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver repairs and voids maintenance for properties in your patch.
• Visit customer homes to assess repairs needs using building knowledge and HHSRS/schedule of rates.
• Raise repairs on Housing Management System and update customer accounts through completion.
• Uphold Empty Homes (Voids) standard to deliver quality homes timely.
• Identify and address hazards under Awaab's Law to protect health and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with contractors, housing teams and internal colleagues to improve service efficiency.
