Job summary

Accent Housing Group is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to deliver repairs and voids across a Peterborough patch, blending site visits with desk-based work. You will assess repair needs, raise jobs in our housing management system, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

A HNC in Building and a UK driving licence are required; travel to different sites is expected. The role is hybrid, 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Should hold an HNC in Building or equivalent qualification.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret building legislation and use property management software.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel around sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver repairs and voids maintenance for properties in the patch.
• Visit customer homes to assess repairs and understand needs.
• Raise repairs on the housing management system and update accounts through completion.
• Uphold Empty Homes (Voids) standards and deliver quality homes promptly.
• Identify hazards promptly and address health-related repairs under Awaab's Law.
• Collaborate with contractors and housing teams to improve service efficiency.
