The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our rapidly growing business based at our Perth-based head office and warehouse. This role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the success of a dynamic and expanding organisation. You’ll play a key role in shaping our maintenance operations, bringing your expertise to a business that values innovation, safety, and high performance.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Trade qualification as a Heavy‑Duty Diesel Mechanic
  • Experience with Terex Finlay, CAT, and Komatsu equipment (preferred)
  • Forklift licence and experience (essential)
  • Proven knowledge and experience in mobile crushing and screening (essential)
  • Experience in setting up and establishing a new workshop (highly desirable)
  • Diagnostic fault‑finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air systems
  • Experience in crusher rebuilds
  • Ability to interpret OEM drawings and systems
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems, preferably MEX
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Warehouse experience (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Experience in mining environments
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Leadership ability and team management experience
  • Dogman, Rigging, and Crane tickets
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Check

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Conduct, co‑ordinate and plan maintenance & rebuilds of primarily Terex Finlay, McCloskey, CAT, Komatsu and Volvo plant and equipment;
  • Work in partnership with the Warehouse team, ensuring regular flow of inventory to meet adequate and appropriate supply to maintenance teams and site projects;
  • Establish & maintain a high standard of safety & workshop cleanliness;
  • Perform regular inspections of plant and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory and Axis requirements;
  • Effectively manage workshop staff, equipment repairs and rebuilds through tracking time and spend using MEX maintenance system;
  • Provide leadership, technical direction and mentoring to overall maintenance team;
  • Contractor management, ensuring subcontractors are managed in an effective manner to achieve maintenance objectives whilst adhering to Axis and client HSET requirements; and
  • Partnering with Operations to ensure maintenance activities are aligned to production targets and plans.
